Dr. Anne Marie Nickodem is a Board-Certified plastic surgeon (the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Inc.).

She is listed as a life member of Who's Who in America. A graduate of Georgetown University and Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C., she did her General Surgery training at St. Vincent's Medical Center of New York. Dr. Nickodem returned to Georgetown University Hospital for her Plastic Surgery residency. After completion of her training, she served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Veterans Affairs Hospital of D.C. prior to entering private practice.

  
She is a member of numerous professional societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), American College of Surgeons (ACS), National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons, Georgetown Clinical Society and Medical Society of Northern Virginia. She performed research on saline and gel breast implants during her residency and continues to be a participating investigator with current silicone gel breast implant studies.

The offices are located in Annandale and Reston, Virginia adjacent to Fairfax and Reston Hospitals, respectively. Both have outpatient surgery centers where most cosmetic procedures are performed. The Chevy Chase, Maryland office is in the same complex as the Chevy Chase Surgery Center and just a short distance from Sibley and Suburban Hospitals. Office minor procedure rooms are available at all locations for local anesthetic procedures.

Dr. Nickodem has admitting and operating privileges at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Fair Oaks Hospital, Reston Hospital, Loudoun Hospital, Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital.

Dr. Nickodem has done charitable work in Thailand, Peru and the Dominican Republic in the past and continues to work with the underprivileged in Metropolitan Washington.
